Hello everyone and welcome to the Mindscape Podcast holiday message.

I'm your host, Sean Carroll, and as you might gather from the title holiday message,

this is not going to be a regular episode of the podcast.

I was thinking of just skipping the two weeks, the holiday period for Christmas and New

years, but I realized I didn't really have an effective way to communicate that fact

to the outside world.

bit about the year in the podcast, mostly since it's brand new and everything is new

and shiny and new to me anyway.

So this is going to be an extremely self-indulgent, naval gazing solo mini episode.
