Elizabeth April. Today we're going to be talking about the hive mind, a hive mind. I love this

0:35.7

concept and I have kind of my own experiences with this in relation to

0:42.3

different alien species. And I just want to kind of bring up this topic so that we can all

0:48.4

talk about it and think about it. And let's see, like my definition of a hive mind would be every soul, every consciousness,

1:00.5

working in unison together and all sharing the same thought.

1:06.2

And I don't know, I don't know exactly how this works.

1:10.6

Like I have my own experiences from observing and even being a part of other species.

1:16.3

But yeah, I want to talk out a couple of different concepts. The easiest way to think about a hive mind is ants, an ant hill, right, on planet Earth.

1:30.9

And, you know, all of the ants are individual little beings, but they're all working in unison. They never have too many ants working on one

1:38.1

side or too little ants working on another side. Like, even the psychology behind an ant hill is absolutely fascinating.

1:48.5

And what's the most incredible about an ant hill or really any other species that has a hive

1:54.5

mind is that they are very efficient. They're very effective in the work that they do together.

2:03.2

Now, another good example of this kind of team-working, team-building ability is wolves.

2:12.6

I believe wolves also have a bit of a hive mind.

2:20.8

You know, of course, wolves are in packs always,

2:28.2

but they're also usually in much smaller packs, and there's usually one liter. So when you think about ants and you think about wolves, there's a question that arises in my own mind,

2:33.8

and unfortunately I don't think i have an answer for you

2:36.9

but i want to talk about it so in the case of a huge ant hill and let's say a thousand ants that are all

2:44.5

working on this ant hill inside outside you know you've got queen aunt, you've got all the little baby ants.

2:53.3

There's kind of this question that arises, which is, do all of the ants have the same mind?

3:01.4

And if you think about spirituality, are essentially, are they all the same consciousness, right? Or, like, kind of like a group
