So my name's Dana.

I'm 31, almost 32.

I live in Connecticut.

And I'm just here to talk about my story of dating, marriage, and then divorce, which could be kind of difficult

at such like a young age. Yeah. Thank you for being here. I feel like this is one of those things

where it happens. Like being 31 and divorced happens, but it's not something that you hear about often. And I'm

sure it's something that when you were going through it, you had very few people to connect with,

to relate to because people don't talk about it. So thank you so much first and foremost for being here

and talking about it because it really does happen and you're definitely not alone in

what you went through. Yeah, and that's exactly why do you want to talk about it. I've noticed or

I've seen an experience like people coming up to me and just giving me their support and then

like also kind of sharing some stuff that they've been going through.

So it kind of was like an eye opener to see like how people may make you think like put on

this show and make you think one thing. But then deep down, you know, they really opened up.

It is something that's not really spoken about. And it is something difficult

at this age, especially when a lot of my friends now are either dating or getting engaged and

married. I've been in weddings in the past year or also like having babies. And then here I am

kind of doing like the opposite. Yeah, you're going back and not going dating, but you're not there yet even, right?

Right, right, exactly.

Okay, so take me back to the beginning. You met your ex-husband in your mid-20s?

Correct. Yeah. I was a nurse. I was in grad school to be a nurse practitioner living at home. He was in finance, also in grad school and living at home.
