Welcome to a throwback episode of the Bronx Pinstripe show.

Scott and I tease this on yesterday's podcast that we did.

This is the history episode I did from back during the pandemic.

I think it was in June, early June, late May, right in the middle of when we were getting

all the bullshit that the owners and the players were

putting us through when all we wanted was for them to get back on the field and play baseball

and they were using the pandemic as an excuse to start their CBA negotiations early. I figured,

let me dive into this long-running feud, this 150-year feud that is not an exaggeration. I explain it in the

history episode, how far back this thing goes. Let me dive in and figure out why the hell these

two sides are so far apart and how we got here. That's what this episode is about. I think is

extremely relevant to what's going on. We're obviously in the week, week two of a

lockout that could extend into the season. And, you know, right now there's other stuff going on.

I think baseball fans are pissed off, but it's not getting much attention elsewhere. I think

if this bleeds into next year and into spring training, like if spring training

gets delayed at all, it's going to be obviously a huge topic. And fans have a right to be pissed off

because at the end of the day, we all just want to watch our favorite team play. We want to have

something to do during some. We're going to be able to go to the ballpark. We want to be able to watch

them seven o'clock every night. And it's billionaires arguing with millionaires over dollars and
