0:50.0	We are used to expecting certain types of rooms and homes that correspond to certain functions.
0:58.8	Kitchens, bathrooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, all of them more or less large.
1:07.1	Sometimes they may be merged due to space constraints.
1:16.6	And we know that larger homes may also have different other rooms, laundry rooms, media rooms, layrooms for kids and pantries,
1:22.6	depending on space and how people live.
1:26.6	But all these types of rooms have a history
1:30.3	that is not only interesting in itself.
1:34.9	It also tells us about lifestyles,
1:38.4	standards of living,
1:40.6	social classes, technology,
1:43.8	how genders are segregated or not the importance given to privacy and how we socialize
1:53.0	and there's a lot to discover here things we do not necessarily think much about in our daily lives.
