And we are recording on the other side of the trade deadline D. We made it. We had the moratorium. No trade deadline talk until 1215 because I knew we were going to hit it real hard

those couple of months. And we did on the other side of it, not only the Lakers, but the league

is totally changed. I think this is an unprecedented trade deadline in league history.

And so the second two segments of this, we're going to try to orient ourselves with where the Lakers are, maybe a little bit of where the league is at.

Maybe that's more tomorrow's pod. We'll see. But first, D, I got to say goodbye to Dalton.

Dalton only played for the Lakers for half a season. And it was one of the more memorable half season stretches for a Laker that I can remember.

I also think he has an extremely bright future and is going to go kill it in Charlotte.

There's a personal touch for this, D, I know for both of us, in that the, oh, crap, we drafted

Dalton Connect pod was our indefiance of orders from the Lakers to not record the pod anymore.

That was our way of saying, right?

Like, actually, no, we're going to keep doing this and you can do with us what you need,

but we're going to keep recording this pod.

And I'll always remember what will be my last time at the Lakers facility on a draft day,

the faint roar that came when Philly made their pick.
