I invite you to turn with me to the book of Daniel in the Old Testament.

If you have read ahead, then you'll know that it has 49 verses.

And so in the interests of time, I'm not going to read the entire chapter.

In fact, if I were to spend three minutes on each verse in commenting,

we'd be here for quite a long time. Daniel chapter two and verse one. In the second year of

the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams. His spirit was troubled and his sleep left him.

Then the king commanded that the magicians, the enchanters, the sorcerers and the

Caldeans be summoned to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

And the king said to them, I had a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.
