Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to episode number of the Potter's cast. Now, I'm curious, did I get you last week?

Did I catch you off guard on April Fool's Day? It was exactly a week ago today. I had so much

fun putting that episode together with Alexandria, and we just had the best

time laughing about it. And I got a couple of notes from y'all. Some people said, said they were

really upset initially about it, and then they realized, oh, wait a second. No, this is, this is April Fool's.

So anyhow, yeah, I was a bit of a jerk. I was a bit of a jerk in that episode. But it was all

playful. I was a playful jerk. So anyhow, well, we've got Ryan Wright coming on to the show and you may remember him

from a few years back, back in 2018. He is a high school teacher and he came on this show and with two of

students and we talked about ceramics and you know what it's like for

students and as a teacher and all that stuff so it was a great episode we really had a good time

there now Ryan uh has since you know been i've kind of kept in contact with him, whether it's Enceco or whether

it's through Instagram. And so he had a big problem recently where his house caught on fire.

And basically they lost everything in this blaze. I mean, there's a couple

of things that are able to get out, but literally everything from their clothing, family

mementos. Yeah, pretty sad, pretty sad stuff. His house basically burned down. And now we're dealing with tragedy and what that's like

at least from his perspective and that's what we're going to talk about today we're going to get

his story and because it's so fresh in his family's life like their lives are in upheaval
