I being ambushed by a family member, Kristen.

I was told this story and I was my jaw dropped.

It's not often that I'm talking to a friend in my jaw drops, but it did because I just

can't believe the audacity of somebody to do this to another family member.

So he had not spoken to his brother in a year and a half, okay?

He doesn't like a major falling out, but a little bit of a tiff, and then both of them

just hadn't spoken in a year and a half.

Now he's still like on good terms with the rest of the family.

And he ends up getting this free house for the summer.

Somebody else is going to be out of town and he has this free house to use for his family.

And of course, they're taking advantage of it.

Well, he's there.

His mom comes down, is hanging out.

And mom makes an off-handed mention that his brother may or may not come visit.

And he's like WTF, haven't spoken to my brother in a year and a half.

If my brother was going to come down and see me, wouldn't it make sense that he would

like call me and let me know?

But nothing was ever definitive, right?

So mom hangs out with her grandkids and him and the fam and goes about her way.

And they're still like this looming.
