It feels a little bit like deja vu all over again, doesn't it?

Extinction Rebellion are back in town.

Teaching unions are threatening to delay the start of the new school year.

More than 800 illegal migrants have landed on our shores in one single day,

and we're still wrestling with the evacuation program out of Afghanistan.

Oh, yeah, there's a G7 meeting as well.

By the way, the last G7 meeting that they had in Cornwall,

do you remember when they all flew in private jets all over the place?

You know, lots of pictures of them posing on the beach,

lots of barbecues, lots of dancing, lots of hugging, lots of kissing,

lots of so-called declarations. Well, that was a

complete and utter waste of time. May I remind you that Joe Biden, the President of the United

States of America and Prime Minister Boris Johnson, both agreed that it would be Britain all over

the world, helping America to solve problems, to sort things out, to stand together, shoulder

to shoulder. That didn't last long,

didn't it? A couple of months maybe before Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. It's hard sometimes

to take any of this stuff seriously, isn't it? But we're going to try today, ladies and gentlemen.
