We thought this would be a good chance for John and I to go back and take a look at the previous off season.

that took place. We obviously were discussing those in real time when they happened, at least those

of us who were actually in the media at the time. So we're going to look now at the 2019 off-season. Some of the best moves, some at the time. But, uh, so we're going to look now at the 2019 off season. Some of the

best moves, some of the worst moves, some of the moves, some of the moves that we've really

had to change our opinions on. So John, uh, good day. How you doing, man? Uh, doing great. Just,

uh, trying to survive in isolation like all of us. Uh, so I guess we could just get right into it here.

What did you have?

Well, just what did you have as some of your best moves?

Or I guess the, I don't know if we want to describe it as the best move,

but a move that really you thought looks amazing in retrospect.

Well, I think this is pretty clearly going to go down as the best move.

And that would be Oklahoma City receiving Danilo Golanari,

Shea Gilgis, Alexander, and five first round picks from the L.A. Clippers for Paul George.

You look back, and I mean, certainly if you look just back at this season, you would say if

it was Gallinari and Shea Gillis Alexander, Oklahoma City probably made out okay.

And those are, you know, those are the kind of deals teams have to take sometimes when they

have a gun to their head and a guy wants out.

But fortunately, they were able to leverage Kauai Leonard's situation in concert with George for all it was worth and get five additional first round picks, including an unprotected first from Miami in 21.
