| 0:00.0 | Hey guys, welcome back to our podcast, A Little Abed a Lot. |
| 0:09.9 | This show is hosted by myself, Becky, and Kelsey. We're also known as the Soria Girls. |
| 0:14.2 | And in the show, we like to talk a little bit about our personal lives, stuff that's going |
| 0:17.7 | on online and just general topics. Yeah, we want you guys to feel |
| 0:21.1 | refreshed and inspired listening to our podcast and maybe leave knowing a little bit more about |
| 0:26.1 | a lot of different things. If you guys are enjoying this show, I would love it if you guys |
| 0:30.1 | could rate and leave a comment about our show. We'd appreciate that. So in today's episode, |
| 0:35.5 | we're going to be throwing it all the way back to when we were in high school. Those are good times for me, though. Yeah, overall, high school was all right. I'm excited to talk about it. Maybe. In case you guys missed the first episode of a little bit a lot where Becky and I talked about, our background, we didn't go to high school together just to clear the era. We met in |
| 0:55.1 | college. But it's actually funny. Remember when we started in college, university, whatever, |
| 1:00.2 | our teacher just thought that we were high school friends. Yeah, he was like, I don't know, |
| 1:07.0 | he made some comment about like how we've known each other for so long. And I was like, what are you talking about? |
| 1:11.7 | We met, like, last week. |
| 1:12.9 | And he was like, what, you guys aren't, like, high school best friends? And I was like, no. And he's like, oh, I just assumed. And I'm like, why did you just assume that? But that's nice. So we definitely didn't go to the same high school. And we went to different, I guess, types of schools altogether, too. |
| 1:27.0 | You went to just like the public high school in your town, right? |
| 1:30.1 | I mean, like it was same high school. And we went to different, I guess, types of schools altogether, too. You went to just like the public high school in your town, right? I mean, like, it was a rap school, |
| 1:31.6 | regional arts program school. So they had like all these different arts programs that you could |
| 1:36.3 | audition and get into. But it was a public school. That's cool. Yeah. And then I went to a private |
| 1:42.0 | high school, which means that you did have to pay tuition to go to it. |
| 1:46.6 | But aside from that, like, I don't, I honestly don't think it was that different than a regular high school or public high school. |
| 1:53.3 | Like, we didn't have uniforms or any of that kind of stuff. |
| 1:55.9 | That's like the weirdest. Like, I've never heard of a private school that hasn't. I mean, I don't know much about private schools, but everything I know about them is that they have uniforms. And that's like the biggest thing about private school is that you have to wear uniforms. Yeah, we didn't. And that was great. Yeah, I feel like, I wonder what everybody's opinions are about uniforms. But I know there's like a lot of good about them. I think it could help, you know, not show wealth disparities and stuff. |
| 2:20.8 | And I guess maybe make it easier to get ready in the morning. |
