So we are all living in interesting times as American society undergoes dramatic change.

0:19.1

A lot of that change is bad.

0:23.3

And when I say that, I mean that traditions that strengthened the USA are being destroyed or broken down. And we all know that. We do this

0:30.6

almost every night. We challenge. And now with the presidential election of November, you really have a clear choice between the

2:04.6

So Gannett is a parent company, and Gannett lost an astounding amount of money last year.

2:12.6

It lost $28 million in 2003, and that's down from $78 million in 22.

2:22.9

And the reason it lost less in 23 is it cut out a lot of its paper.

2:30.1

So it's hard to get USA Today paper.

2:32.7

It's online.

2:34.3

So they cut those costs, but it's still losing $25 million a year.
