The FFCRA stands for Families First Coronavirus Response Act, even though it says

families in the name, it doesn't really, you don't have to have a family. Okay, this is for

people who are self-employed, booth renters, independent contractors, anywhere in the economy,

of course, I'm talking to you because so many in our

industry are that. This is the stimulus program for you. All right, PPP and ERC, that was for the

employers. This FFCRA is for the self-employed and independent contractor people. Okay, you claim up to $32,000 in stimulus

money from the government. This is intended to compensate you for lost work days during

the lockdowns of COVID. Also compensate you for illness. Any times that you're sick, quarantines, school closures,

days that you had to care for a loved one, like a kid or an older person.

Pretty much any of these things will apply to a lot of you in this industry.

So free money that's sitting out here. Not a lot of people are

talking about it because there is simply so much that was passed during that time from Congress.

But the Professional Beauty Federation has put together a portal. It's taken about eight months

for us to do that.

Fred Jones has done most of the work. For those of you who know the show and know me,
