So the other day I observed high grade awareness and an 11 year old and I was taking my daughter

and her friend to go play laser take and I haven't seen her friend in a long time because

of COVID and all that.

So when she showed up at the house I was like, oh hey, what's up?

And she said to me right away, I'll just let you know I'm shy now.

And I was like, yeah, but we know each other.

I've known you since you were like four years old and is that.

So yeah, I know I'm shy.

I'm a little bit weird now.

Adults scare me.

So I may be weird today.

And it was so interesting to me that somebody so young would have such awareness of their

own emotions, of their own what you could call a little weird traits or anxieties,

comforts and speak so honestly and open about it.

Like hey, this is what's going on in my whole mental and my spirit right now just to

give you a warning.

And then she just continued.

And I was like, wow, that was powerful.

That was powerful to me.

That was ownership.

Not ownership in a way where she was saying like, hey, this is who I am.

Like she's going to be like that forever.
