Hey friends, surprise it's me, it's a Monday.

You're not normally used to hearing my voice on a Monday,

but we have a special episode that we're bringing to you today.

We kind of thought about this last minute and I thought, man, everything that's happening in the world with Ukraine and Russia and refugees.

I just want to talk about this and I knew I wanted to talk about this with someone that I could trust, someone that loves the Lord,

and really is going to bring us the best information that we could possibly get.

And so I called my friend Ginny Yang who works at world relief and said, hey, we jump on Friday afternoon.

We actually recorded this live on Crowdcast so we had some people who joined us live to watch,

but we recorded it and we're releasing it to you today because I think it's important.

It's really important for us.

Ginny says, real early in this conversation, she said, for those of us who follow Jesus,

there's a specific calling for us to care about what's going on in our world.

And I think there's probably three different people, people who care a whole lot about everything that's going,

people who want to care but really don't know how and then people who are kind of oblivious.

And wherever you are on that spectrum, I think that you're going to get some good nuggets of truth and encouragement today from Ginny.

Ginny works with world relief.

She works through the local church to serve the most vulnerable.

They identify local church partners on how to best serve their neighbors.
