Each week on this show, I invite a friend to join me, and we chat about the big things in life,

You guys September must be the month of the man, because I have had five men on the

show out of six guests, and this is the very last show of September.

And it's another man who would have thought that for the first what eight years of the podcast,

seven years of the podcast, that I'd never had a man on the show.

Did you guys know that? Did you know that when I started the show in 2014,

that I decided that I was going to host a podcast where I just talked to women.

I didn't want to talk to men. I wanted to give women a stage, and I still am so proud of myself for

that. I guess it was the first six years, because we had our first man in January of 2020,

for real. Aaron Ivy, my husband, had been on a handful of times before that,

and I believe that we had Jonathan Pitts on before that. But those were kind of like special guests,

and then in 2020, we decided to have some men on the show, and we've never looked back.

And I'm grateful for it. I have had a ton of great conversations.

And just September has been so man-heavy, and I was just funny looking at the calendar thinking,

wow, here I am ending September. And sweet little Maddie Pruitt trout was the only woman

this whole month, but we've had some great conversations this month. I'm happy to be ending

September with Phil Vischer. He's on the show. Now you might know Phil, because he was the creator

of Veggie Tales. In fact, I believe I tell Phil in this episode today that at one point,
