Summary

Hi friends! We are continuing our Characters of Christmas series with my guest Jami Nato. Jami was on The Happy Hour back in 2016. We re-aired that episode in 2021 during our Flashback Friday podcast series, and now Jami is back with us to talk all about Mary, the mother of Jesus. Maybe December is a hard month for you or maybe 2022 has been a particularly challenging year for you. I want to encourage you to lean into this last month of the year standing on something that is unshakeable: Jesus Christ.

0:04.3	In the six month of Elizabeth's pregnancy,
0:07.5	God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a village in Galilee,
0:11.2	to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph,
0:15.8	a descendant of the King David. Gabriel appeared to her and said,
0:19.9	greetings, favorite woman, the Lord is with you.
0:22.8	Confused and disturbed, Mary tried to think what the angel could mean.
0:27.2	Don't be afraid, Mary, the angel told her, for you have found favor with God.
0:31.8	You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.

1:05.3	has become pregnant in her old age. People used to say she was barren,

1:13.6	For the word of God will never fail. Mary responded,
1:17.8	I am the Lord's servant. May everything you have said about me come true,
