Dr. Merritt has been in the private practice of Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery since 1995, has served on the Board of the Arizona Medical Association and is past president of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons. In 1980, she graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York, where she was elected to life membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency in the United States Navy and served 9 years as a Navy physician and surgeon before returning to Rochester, where she was the only woman to be appointed as the Louis A. Goldstein Fellow of Spinal Surgery.
Dr. Merritt has had a long interest in wellness and fitness and has been Fellowship Certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. More recently she has appeared on numerous radio programs discussing Covid-19, the futility of mask mandates and other lies and omissions from the medical “technocrats”.

0:46.8 | with is there's there's a balance right there's one side of the spectrum and and this is a harmful side, and then the other side of spectrum. |
0:57.3 | And one side is to deny that there's any dark things happening and completely just, you know, |

1:06.7 | pretend that it's all love and light. |
1:08.3 | And what that allows to happen is it allows darkness to fester and grow in the background |
1:13.5 | and eventually take over. |
1:15.4 | And then equally harmful is the constant focus on darkness to where you are so focused on it. |
1:21.9 | You're actually giving it your energy. |
1:23.6 | You're perpetuating it and you're not using your creative force to develop solutions to the darkness. |

1:34.5 | is acknowledge the darkness, name the darkness, openly discuss the darkness, |
1:39.4 | but say, hey, okay, what do we individually and collectively need to do about it? |
1:44.2 | That's the middle ground position that so many people struggle to get there. okay, what do we individually and collectively need to do about it? Right. |
