Hey, ladies, welcome back to the Homemaking Foundation's podcast. This is the very

last episode of 2018. And today we are talking about my word for 2019. And at the end, we're also

going to talk about how you can pick your own word because that's one

question I get asked all the time is okay this is kind of an intriguing idea but how do you pick

a word for your year and I promise you there's nothing magical or mystic or anything about

picking a word it's just a really good way just to be able to focus in on your year. It's a good addition to setting

goals for your year, for your house, for your home, for your life, for your business, your marriage,

all those different areas of life. And picking a word can just really help hone that in. And it's

a really fun topic. So I'm glad you're joining me here today i've got lots of

fun things to talk about and this is my fifth year picking a word for my year and i this was actually

may have been my hardest word ever some of my words in the past have come really easily

i knew kind of the idea and the direction I wanted for this year, but settling on that right word was really

tough. So I'm really happy with the word that I picked and kind of just my general direction for

the year. I'm really excited for. I'm nervous for 2019 because we have a lot of things in the works, a lot of big changes coming

up that I'm excited to share with you guys throughout the year. So I'm a little bit nervous, but also

really, really excited. So I'm going to talk about some of that stuff today and some of kind of how

that ties into my goals for this year. Okay, so I'm going to share my word in a second, but my 2012 word, 2012 was the first

year I picked a word. It was intentional. I see a lot of people picking intentional as a word,

and I think it is phenomenal. Like, intentional is kind of like my secondary word for every single
