He's busy getting the world hydrated right now, so we'll give him a pass. But nonetheless, you have my co-pilot back. Well, it's great to be back. I am glad to be here. I've missed the podcast. It's been a long time. Let's just call Matt Flynn what he is, a frontrunner, right? Look, the last weekend did not go like we wanted it to go. Obviously, we wanted to get a victory there in Orlando. We're about to break it down. But if LSU would have won, he probably would have been here. Matt Flynn,

known frontrunner, just saying. Like you said, LSU falls to the Seminoles, 45 to 24. Before we really dive deep into it, let's talk a little bit more big picture, first impressions. Obviously,

no overreactions on this podcast. You can get that on other platforms. But we are going to talk

about what we saw,

ways this team can improve because it's a long season. As we saw last year, you can drop the first

game and still have a really good year. Give me your first impressions, what you saw from Orlando,

and how this team can build on that moving forward. I've been in that game before. I have been

in a game like that where you have opportunities, you have some momentum,

which LSU certainly did going into halftime, but because you didn't take full advantage

of the opportunities in a matchup like that.

Now, there's games where you don't take advantage of those, but you find a way and you've

got more talent and you've got more juice and you've still win the football

game in a game like that the margins are so small right even though you had the half time lead

going going in you still left points out there right and when you're playing a game like that

it is always going to come back and bite you and we can go through the first situation where you're down on the one. You get a penalty. You get a new fresh set of downs and you get excited because surely they're going to punch it in. And look, and they don't. And there's a thousand reasons why. And we, you know, throughout the year, we'll break down film. I can just say on that set of downs, they had opportunities. They didn't take

advantage of them. And then you get back there. And what answer it was by Florida State to go down

and score. And then you answer them. You go down and score. And then you get another opportunity.

And yet again, you don't take advantage of it. And so there's a lot of times in that game

where you had an opportunity against a really

good football team that if you don't take advantage there, you're going to have a team like that

...
