Hey, everybody, welcome to another edition of Rob Observations.

Robeservations is where we talk comic books and pop culture.

I am Rob Leifeld.

I am part of the Rob of the Rob Observations.

The comic books and pop culture have just continued to smash together in every possible way.

It seems like the amount of movies and television and streaming and games is increasing.

And, and they continue to draw so much material, the raw material.

The basis of all of this is the beautiful comic books

that I have enjoyed my entire life since I was a kid, seven years old, pulling off the spinner

rack, 1974, 1975 on. It became my obsession, my passion. I have made it my profession. I draw and write and create comics

and publish comics, and I have now for 34 years, Deadpool, Cable, X-Force, Hawk and Dove, the

new mutants, the Avengers, Captain America, Image Comics, Youngblood, so many that I can't

even cover. I have had such a fun time making

comics for my career. Captain America and the Avengers were part of a giant event that we

have been dissecting called Heroes Reborn. It launched in 1996. It took almost a year and a half prior to that end of 94 all the way through

95 to negotiate. We launched it in 96. It immediately went in 10 different directions. I don't think

it ended in a way that anyone, especially you guys who were buying the books, anticipated.

But we are going to do today, we've done all the chapters

walking through what happened with Heroes Reborn. And today we are joined by Jimmy J.

who is going to help with our, we're going to call this the post-mortem, the autopsy. We're doing,

we're doing the wrap-up. This is the roundtable, and Jimmy and I are going to go over

all of the different aspects of what went into Heroes Reborn, the stuff that you guys have given
