So here we go, you guys. We are back with another episode of Rob Zervations. Yes, thank you for

joining me as we walk down comic book history, as I have experienced it not only as a fan,

but as a professional. Today, you're going to get a little bit of both as we continue to

chart this course and walk through adventures in comics. My first comic books, I pulled off the

spinneracks at the local markets, the drugstores, all of the different ways that you could,

in places that you could get comic books, I was there.

I was getting those comic books. I was consuming them. I was grabbing them at 7-Eleven.

Stop and Go. U-Totum, Rexel drugs, food land, all of it. They became my passion. That passion became

a career. I love that we can get together and talk about

comics. And today you are in for a wild one. These keep getting crazier and crazier. I'm going to

step back a little, but also keep one foot in where we've been in regards to this era surrounding heroes reborn.

But the step backwards is going to take me in 1989.

And a purchase I make before I board a flight to go visit the Marvel comic offices as a professional for the first time.

But today's podcast, the next two episodes are going to deep dive into Fighting American.

Fighting American. I just love saying it. It's such a great title.

Fighting American is a comic book

that you may not have heard of. Many didn't back when I published Fighting American in 1997 through

1999. It's 21 years later and many still don't know who fighting American was because once we kind of

landed the plane that we put in the skies again with our publication of Fighting American at my

awesome comics label it uh it really didn't go much further than that other than a recent revival

that i've've checked at.

You know, I've glanced at in and out.
