Hey, you guys, it is time for the roller coaster that is known as Rob Zervations.

I am Rob Leifeld.

I am on this roller coaster with you.

We talk comics.

We taught pop culture.

All things comic books, all things pop culture, because that is what

fuels me, what drives me, what I've been doing with my life for about 45 years. I, uh, pulled my

first comic book off the spinner rack when I was seven. It became a lifelong addiction for me and eventually a vocation.

It became my career. It became what I did. I've been very fortunate.

Perhaps you've picked up one of my comic books, whether it was the new mutants, it was Hawk and Dove,

it was X-Force, it was Youngblood, it was Captain America, it was the Avengers. It was cable. It was Deadpool. It was the Deadpool core. Right now, I'm doing G.I. Joe, Snake Eyes. So this is what I do. I love this. This is what I do. And we are going through the timeline. And recently, Marvel has re-released yet another edition of a body of work that I did called Heroes Reborn.

I did the Captain America and the Avengers installments. Jim Lee, my partner at Image Comics at the time, was recruited alongside me. He did the Fantastic Four,

and he did Iron Man from his end. And together, all four books made this Heroes Reborn event,

which was very controversial because it was the first time that Marvel Comics outsourced

their creative teams from soup to nuts, including our editorial capacity to package,

overlook, oversee these books to the West Coast outside of their New York Manhattan offices

to two former, you know, superstars for them. We held the record for the best-selling comic books,

which happened to be their Marvel comic books. One was X-Men, and the other was X-Force,

which I created, and stacked with all these wonderful characters. You may have heard of. Domino,

Deadpool, Cable, Shatterstar, Warpath, you know, Strife, so many.

We just loved doing comics.

We love doing comics for Marvel.
