with Aernan Cortez and his gang of Spanish conquistadors as they try and rest controlled Mexico from Emperor Montezuma and the Aztec Empire.

The Spanish had reached an Achitland in the valley of Mexico and entrenched themselves in the city.

And while history isn't totally clear, we do know that the Spanish would take advantage of the hospitality of the Aztecs and take Montezuma hostage.

With the Emperor as his prisoner, Cortez would then go about extracting as much tribute from the Aztec people as possible,

and at the same time plot to take control of all of Mexico.

It was an ambitious plan, but if it worked, Cortez would be immensely wealthy, and the Spanish

Crown would be extraordinarily grateful for his actions.

However, in the spring of 1520, Cuban Governor Diego Valisquez would send an army to Mexico in a rebuke of Cortez.

This new force was 800 to 1,100 men. The number varies depending

on the source, and were under the command of Panfilo-Dainar Vise, the conquistador I have made

fad of more than any other explorer in the history of this program for his equal

parts of cruelty and incompetence.

Narvise and his expedition would land near Veracruz and send out three men to go and chat

with the garrison at the fledgling settlement.

By the way, Narvise would probably have liked to have just marched in and started a fight with Cortez's men,

but the Spanish ground had sent an official to oversee the expedition,

and Spaniards killing Spaniards was frowned upon.

This official was Lucas Vasquez de A. Eun and he would advise Nervise to seek a peaceful resolution to the events
