Our last episode was a doozy. Cortez had defeated an army of fellow Spaniards under the command of Panfilo de Narvise, but had then been forced to rush back to Tanachitland

to confront a revolt by the Aztec people following the massacre at the festival of Tachkottal.

After that, things did not go well for the Spanish. They ended up trapped in the city as the insurgency grew around them. In the process, Emperor Montezuma would die and his brother, Kuitlawak, would ascend the throne.

Quilawak would throw all the might of the Aztec Empire into the fight, forcing Cortez and
