screenwriting format and they told us all about it and where they did it and damn it I want to see

the pages because it sounds cool and it makes sense and you know what it's okay to

experiment with format format is just a guideline it doesn't mean you're a heretic. I'm just saying, internet, calm down sometimes.

But look, I absolutely love their film where the true horror of it all is religion itself,

and I was very happy to have co-writers and co-directors, Scott Beck and Brian Woods with us for the Q&A today.

And you know, they've been working on

Heretic a long time and their patients really paid off because, man, you just don't see horror

films with long monologues like this or even lectures you could call them at a certain point.

And I was all there for it. Everybody gave an amazing performance, including and especially Hugh Grant. This film

is just a pleasure to watch. And I was lucky enough to see it at the AFI Fest premiere this year and then

attend the after party. And it was really just kind of interesting listening in on all the conversations

as people left the theater and different meanings of the ending, which, you know, is kind of open-ended on purpose.
