Cassie and her husband made the decision to like sort of isolate from the rest of the world and

hung out quite a bit in your house.

Didn't leave much, right?

Yeah, I mean we didn't leave like at all. It was medical emergencies or like visits that you

couldn't avoid and that was it.

So for whatever reason imprinted into my head is this is how you guys are and have continued

to live your life after COVID.

So when you were telling me before going into the weekend that you were doing all these live your

going on all these kick-ass things. I'm like,

what, this doesn't match up, right? I just haven't caught up.

Yeah, no, we don't like being at home. And so I think maybe it's to make up a little bit for COVID and the isolation that we did, but also I really love traveling. I used to travel all the time. Then it got expensive and I had children and I'm not

spending two thousand dollars on a plane ticket for a two-year-old so we are

exploring Georgia and we really you know if the kids are like I'm really tired today I want to stay home well of course we'll honor that but they generally aren't

So we try and do as much as possible every single weekend and a lot of weekdays as well if I'm not working then we go and hit a

Festival or the trail so this past weekend we rode on the silver comet trail from Smyrna all the way to Powder Springs.

It's about a 20 mile round trip.

Downtown Powder Springs is like totally revitalized.

There's a splash pad. There's a little bookshop called the Bookworm that we love so much they were setting up for a festival so we turned around and went to a different

like little cafe and playground and then we stopped at the Floyd Road trailhead for the splash pad there.

Then the next day we went to South City Kitchen at Avalon.

Love Alpharetta, downtown Alpharetta as well.
