I'm Maggie Lake, and here with me today is Jared Dillion, editor of the Daily Dirt

Knop. Hey, Jared, how are you? What are we doing here?

What are we doing here? It's the night before, the night before. And the people are gone,

right? Somebody, somebody's got to do it. My building is empty. That parking lot behind

me is totally empty. Absolutely. Everyone's right on the long travel. I'm grateful I'm here

and not at an airport that I have to say that would be challenging. So if we take a look

at the action today, starting to get quiet, but we did, the stocks were able to continue

that rally that we've seen all the US indices higher by about a half to 1% WTI crude also

recovering a bit, $73 a barrel and the 10 year bond, US Treasury holding steady at about

1.49%. Jared, it's been quite a month as we look at the markets. How are you feeling about

the markets, about the economy? We get ready to wrap up this year.

I'm not feeling really good about 2022. I mean, we were up, I think, 29 in 2020 and 20%

this year. I don't really get the impression that that's sustainable. I mean, in terms

of the price action the last couple of days, I mean, it started with turnaround Tuesday.

You know, we had a big turnaround Tuesday. I mean, like, you know, the price action was

very negative last week, but it's like holding a balloon underwater. We've had three consecutive

days of rallies. You know, the week around Christmas and New Year's, we always tend to

drift higher. It's going to be interesting to see what happens on January 2nd.

So you so you so you so you you sounds like you're well, it would be hard to live up to

some of the gains, especially in some stocks that we've seen. But do you think it's going

to be more, is it just that year over year comparison? Is it going to be more challenging
