The Kobah Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia killed 19 US servicemen.

Independence Day, starring Will, Hackeys Slappy Smith, Bill Palmer and Jeff Goldblum Premiered.

And the UK government selected the Greenwich Peninsula site on the banks of the River Tems,

as the location for the Millennium Dome exhibition, which was set to open for the year 2000.
