He's trying to have patient eyes. You know our handsome line editor gets paid by the hour, right? No, she doesn't. She gets paid by the episode. Oh, okay, fine. Sorry, Libby. use any of it because it's like way too like personal stuff yeah yeah i always tell people if they're

gonna do like a first pass edit of a show always charged by the episode and not by the hour

because you get better at it over time and if you're truly charging by the hour you will make less money at it when you're better at it over time. And if you're truly charging by the hour, you will make less money at it when you're better at it. So get it per episode rate and then stick with like that as your billing system. That's my advice. We have two standing file cabinets full of witness statements, tips and reports, newspaper articles, videotapes.

In 1995, morning TV anchor Jody Hoosendrout was abducted from the parking lot outside her Mason City, Iowa apartment.

Among those the police questioned was her friend John Vanceyce, 20 years her senior, who said she'd

been at his home watching a videotape of the surprise party he recently threw for her.

I was finding out they named his boat after her. Kind of red flags went up the way he acted.

It was so strange.

But that doesn't mean that he's the guilty one.

I'm not saying, you know, for sure that he is.

After a TV show in 2022 highlighted the mystery,
