Of course, my daughter, Hazel, is at the age where she is, she's five, she has a scooter.

She wears a helmet, but like most kids, once they get comfortable doing something,

they are basically like, what can I do to hurt myself? What trick can I do? So she has started doing

scooter, which really just involve her hopping on the scooter or jumping off it with both feet.

But we're going along. We're on this Silver Comet Trail, which is like this paved path through the woods

where people bike and walk and jog. She's doing her tricks. And I'm like, who she's not going that

fast. And then I don't know what happens. Her foot catches and she literally flies over the front

of the handlebars. Now luckily she's wearing a helmet, but it kind of slipped up a little bit. And

not too much, but the handlebar was able to jammer in the head.

Like, she didn't hit the pavement, but it was the handlebar sticking up that got her in the

head and gave her a huge goose egg.

Like I'm talking like in a cartoon.

She stopped crying after like two minutes max, like was totally fine, but the remnants

of the goose egg remained and the bruise. And the worst part is we'd actually kept her home
