It says, I wrote in a little while ago about my dad trying to bribe me to have a baby.

I'm 25, married for just over a year, and my husband and I plan to wait a couple more years before diving into parenthood.

But apparently, my parents, especially my dad, had other plans.

To recap, my dad offered me $10,000.

Yes, seriously, to get pregnant now instead of later.

He called it an investment in his legacy, said he was tired of waiting and even tried to pitch it like a business deal,

listing off all the things I could do with the money from a new car to a baby moon to a decked-out nursery.

I thought he was joking.

He was 100% not joking.

Wow.
