The facts Danny are that most kids see porn eventually and unfortunately it's

earlier and earlier and as a parent that is such a hard thing to confront to deal with the mop up after, to have that conversation.

I'm John Fuller along with Danny Ware.

It's a head of Focus on the Family's Parenting Department.

Kids get hooked on porn in a lot of different ways. Even caring protective

parents get bypassed in this process. The enemy is using porn and this is going to sound a little different to somebody I'm sure but how do we

make sexuality a part of our everyday conversation with our kids age appropriate of

course so that when they're exposed to porn we can actually have a good

conversation a productive one with them. Yeah pornography is an interesting

topic with with parents talking that through because the starting point is

foggy. We assume that pornography begins with seeing a certain picture and it's actually sometimes that's how it happens but it can be

other events leading up to that and the way to

enter the conversation before it takes place is to begin talking about the

beauty of how God has created sexuality and in scripture it talks about knowing

someone to a deep level what What a joy that is? What does that mean that

God has said that through a sexual relationship one knew another person and

that is reserved for a very special moment and we can't our

brain does not have the capacity to have multiple partners and it's shown even

through science that certain chemicals are released to create a bond that is very deep.

And so if you picture a sticky note, right, and you keep pressing it on things, it'll lose its stick stickiness and so for kids to understand that
