I've got three adult daughters now and one of them kind of turned tables on me and

went into lecture mode and I just barked at her. It's like don't tell me and I had to

kind of come back and apologize and say sorry my heart wasn't very open to what you were saying

And you really did have a good insight on what I was doing and how I could improve my life and my relationships.

So that's a hard thing for us to do to apologize to our kids.

A little easier when they're adults.

Today we're talking about modeling humility for our kids.

And Danny, I tend to erase the bad stuff.

And so do you have anything that comes to mind in terms of apologies or humility with your kids?

You know, I think, yeah, our rhythm is that we do have a lot of moments of apology because it can be, I mean,

it can be small things as well just

even with our spouses where we model that apologizing to our wife and I've had to do that

a few times where I've just I've carried stress into a moment with my family.

That's a good way to put it.

That's what I do all the time.

Yeah, bring it in with me in my back pocket.

They don't know that.

And then my wife says something that where our personalities are very different and she has a

list and I'm not ready for a list and I respond with impatience I like to
