Chapter 6 today in the book of Galatians and our text will be verses 2 through 5.

I'll have you turn there in your Bibles and once you do, if you're able, I'll ask you to stand.

You can follow along as I read.

If not, that's alright.

The Apostle Paul is writing and by the Holy Spirit says, verse two, carry each other's burdens.

And in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ.

If anyone thinks they are something when they are not, they deceive themselves. Each one should test their own actions.

Then they can take pride in themselves alone without comparing themselves to someone else.

For each, verse five, each one should carry their own load.

Let's pray and we'll ask God's blessing on our understanding, if you would join with me.

Loving Heavenly Father, would you at this time just grab our attention and hold our

attention as only you can so that we're not distracted from anything that you would desire to speak into our lives in our time together

in your word today. Lord, that's why we're here. We're here because we want to hear you speak

and not only hear but take heed to your word. So Lord, please speak. Your servants are listening,

for we ask this in Jesus' name. Amen. You can be seated. Thank you. So, pardon me,

Last week I shared the illustration comparing a police to a paramedic, both of whom arrive on the scene of an accident, but for two different reasons.
