Good morning friends. Welcome back to the morning mindset. It's time for you and

for me to get our minds aligned with the truth of God. Let's do that by jumping

right into the scripture.

We are reading in John chapter 16,

and Jesus himself is speaking to his disciples.

He's speaking to them about the opposition

and the difficulty they are going to face in days to come.

And let's begin reading in verse number four.

He says, I have said these things to you that when their hour comes, you may remember that I told them to you.

So he's saying when opposition comes against you, when hard times come, I want you to

remember I've prepared you for this. I told you this was going to happen and therefore I am

capable to help you in this situation through the Holy Spirit."

He goes on, he says, I did not say these things to you from the beginning because I was with you.

He's saying you didn't feel all alone. I was right there with you, the one who's doing the miracles, the one who's doing the miracles the one who's your

Savior in the flesh I was there with you but now verse five I'm going to him

who sent me and none of you asked me where are you going?

He's saying I'm going back to my father and you know that.

You know that.

But because, this is verse six, but because I've said these things to you

sorrow has filled your heart.

Wouldn't you feel the same?

Wouldn't you be sorrowful if you had spent three and a half years or so walking with the King of Kings and
