road alone. Hey guys, welcome to partner mess. I'm glad you're with us today. I don't know about you,

but this is one of the first days that I am home

completely alone. Some of you may have older kids are in school and you know what I'm talking about.

And if you have littles, the day will come. And it is definitely a mixed bag of emotions with that.

As you know, my youngest went to kindergarten. We've talked about that. My middle went to high school.

And now my oldest has gone to college. And've talked about that. My middle went to high school and now my oldest has gone

to college. And so I said in an earlier podcast, I would give a little follow up to that. I'm

going to talk about it more in the messy minute at the very end of today's podcast. But I'll just

suffice it to say, wow, that was hard stuff taking one to college, especially your first born and

your daughter.

I haven't done any other kids, so I don't know if that's the hardest or not, but we were able to go and get her moved in. And then she came back with us for several days because she was not rushing and all of her friends were.

And then she left.

She got in her car and drove off.

And I will say for anyone who's anticipating that day,

God is good and he is sufficient and it is still very, very hard. I think the buildup was harder

than actually the days after and it's only been like a week. So let's call it what it is. But

the days before were very hard, especially the night
