Welcome back to Bright Harth, a podcast that is all about recovering the lost arts of

homemaking in the productive Christian household.

Today we're diving into a topic that is close to our hearts, the challenge of finding a

like-minded spouse in the Christian world, and what we can do about it.

Last year, we hosted a singles mixer at our annual

new Christenum Press conference that led to something truly amazing. We saw several couples meet,

court, and end up actually getting married out of the conference. And the same thing actually

happened the prior year as well.

And now have started their own households and are even beginning to have children.

As the proverbs say, he who finds a wife finds a good thing.

And we were honored to be a part of that process for some of our brothers and sisters.

One of those couples, Sam and Chase, are actually going to join us at the end of this episode,

and you're going to hear an interview with them about how they met,

some of the things, the challenges that they faced along the way,

good advice that they got from a wise grandmother and some more.

And they're actually now expecting their first child.

So this was less than a year ago that they met. Now they're married and expecting their first little one.
