Summary

Grab your tiara, your emerald gown and your murder cape because it's prom season and the campaign to crown a Queen is vicious! Mary Lou Maloney is slaying the competition, bedding all of the boys and leaving her mark on the confessional wall...and on the stage. Joining the boys to discuss this Canadian slasher gem is Leigh Monson, who helps to unpack why Mary Lou is both a sex positive queer icon and a villain to root for. Perhaps we're possessed by the spirit of Mary Lou, but things get a little raunchy: we talk about the queer connotations of the naked shower sequence, Principal Billy's son getting pegged, a sexy pony ride, and kissing your Daddy.
