Surprised.

Not that they traded him.

I'm surprised that they got a willing participant to trade for him.

As far as I understand, the Steelers did take on the rest of the money for this year.

I don't think there was any give back there, which I actually thought opened a hole to potentially go

after somebody if there was something available to them, but they didn't choose to go that way.

But I'm not surprised they traded him. I mean, obviously, he wasn't going to play again here.

And apparently Pittsburgh really liked him and were concerned enough that if he got put on waivers, they wouldn't get him.

So they made a move to get him. And I think, you know, it's better off for both parties, frankly.

Yes. And they made it clear to him. Rivera had sat down with him recently and basically said, hey, both sides here made a mistake.

You know, they made a mistake thinking that he could transfer to their defense.
