Trust me when I say this, the best political strategy right now for the Trump administration,

an administration that is falling apart in the polls, an administration that some of the most

staunch maga have broken off from, Marjorie Taylor Green calling for the 25th Amendment,

Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, you're losing independence. You've burnt all the political

capital that you've built over the last year.

What do you do? You attack the Pope. Trust me, it's a good strategy. It's going to work.

That was obviously sarcasm. We've got to walk through some of this madness because Donald Trump just

keeps sinking deeper and deeper and all the remaining loyalists are like, yeah, screw the Pope.

He shouldn't be talking about political issues. That is not a good strategy. So let's talk about it. Before we do, really quickly, my name is Chris Maurer. I hadn't really seen this until I was making this video. Some of the polling around popularity for Pope Leo versus Donald Trump. You can already see it's crazy. Let's take

a listen. It's just the American public at large, John. Look at this. It is a blow on the net popularity

rating. Pope Leo the 14th at plus 34.

Look at where Donald Trump is at minus 12.

It's not even close.

It's a nearly 50 point blowout amongst the American public at large.

Pope Leo the 14th, absolutely crushing President Trump when it comes to how popular they are,

at least as of the last month.

And I will note that Pope Leo was the most popular person tested by NBC News.

I believe the president is making a humongous mistake going after the most popular guy

in America, at least well-known guy.

Question is, why is this man smiling here?
