| 0:11.8 | Everything had to be just so in the kingdom of Carnival. The gardens of the inhabitants |
| 0:18.5 | of this strange realm had to be neatly clipped with no more than six types of flowers and grass regulation one inch exactly in height. |
| 0:28.7 | All horses had to be named dapple which led to a fair amount of confusion whenever there was a race. |
| 0:34.5 | All the houses were the same and painted to the same shade of blue, and everyone had |
| 0:39.1 | to obey the rules of the realm, of which there were, as you can imagine, literally trillions. |
| 0:46.3 | The people of Carnival were pretty good at doing what they were told, and if they didn't, |
| 0:51.3 | well, the worst thing of all would happen to them. |
| 0:55.8 | No, not a prison cell or anything like that. |
| 0:58.3 | If you broke the rules, everyone would know, and they wouldn't speak to you for sometimes |
| 1:02.8 | literally hours. |
| 1:04.4 | They believed a silent stare to be more of a punishment than any sword. |
| 1:08.4 | This might not sound very bad to you or me. |
| 1:14.9 | Maybe a bit annoying, but for the people of Carnival, it was awful. |

| 1:29.4 | When you think about it, Carnival is just about the worst name for a place like this. After all, carnivals are something fun, and it wasn't exactly a fun place to be by the sound of it. But then again, |
| 1:34.2 | it is worth remembering that different people find different things fun and wouldn't the world be |
| 1:38.1 | boring if they didn't. Now, one of the rules, from the trillions of rules in the regulation tomes |
| 1:44.0 | of the realm, was all |
| 1:45.4 | about hats. Hats had to be worn by every single inhabitant. If you didn't, the other person |
| 1:52.3 | would sharply shout, hat to remind you, and you better quickly do it or else, well, you might |
| 1:58.9 | get stared at in a icy silence, and that would very much spoil your day. |
