| 0:00.0 | Amen. Like Miles said, my name is Gage Henry, and apparently I'm the suffering pastor for today, |
| 0:08.7 | but honored to be here with all of you. And if you've not been a part of this Hebrew series, |
| 0:13.0 | you've got to go back. And Hebrews chapter 8 was so powerful for our church that because of the |
| 0:18.1 | blood of Jesus, Jesus has our high priest. There is a new covenant that's |
| 0:22.0 | been established with better promises. So if you missed that sermon, that sermon was all about the fact |
| 0:26.1 | that now we have a new spirit that's been given to us. We have a law that was not written on stone |
| 0:30.7 | tablets, but it's been written on the hearts of believers, that we have a new eternal |
| 0:34.6 | inheritance available in Christ Jesus. But the part that really got me that I think got so many people |
| 0:39.3 | is that God chooses to remember our sins no more. |
| 0:44.3 | He consciously, he doesn't forget him, |
| 0:46.2 | he chooses to remember our sins no more. |
| 0:48.6 | And as I'm sitting over there hearing that sermon, |
| 0:50.8 | I realize so many of us have said yes to Jesus. |
| 0:54.0 | We know we've been saved. We know we've |
| 0:56.2 | been set free. And yet, why do we still live with such a guilty conscience? So the title for the |
| 1:05.4 | sermon is the guilt-free life. The guilt-free life. Because after that moment where he remembers our sins |
| 1:12.5 | no more, Hebrews chapter 9, we're about to read in just a second, God promises to cleanse our |
| 1:18.5 | consciences from the inside. So I don't know what comes to mind as you think about the guilt-free life. |
| 1:24.2 | I immediately think of college, like going back to college. And I knew I was going to be a pastor, and I was under leadership, like Miles, who was telling me, here's how you |
| 1:31.6 | make sure you make it freshman year. The guilt-free life for me, freshman year of college, |
| 1:34.9 | looked like me eating a bowl of Reese's puff cereal at the end of every single meal. Okay, |
| 1:40.3 | anybody, Reese's-puff people out there? Yeah, okay, you know the truth. |
