And now here's Andrew. Welcome to our Thursday's broadcast of the gospel truth. I am nearly at the end of nine weeks of teaching verse by verse through the book of Hebrews. I tell you, Hebrews is just an essential book.

If you really want to walk in the New Covenant, you can't do it without understanding

Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews. Now, of course, all of the New Covenant is important,

but those were specifically written to counter the legalistic mindset that came through the Old Covenant law.

And the book of Hebrews is, as the title suggests, it was written to Hebrew Christian, to Jewish Christians that were under the law and to get them out from under the law and the law mentality into the new covenant.

And I tell you, very, very, very few Christians today have made the transition.

This is essential.

And I've got a study Bible here that we call the Living Commentary. It's a digital version. I've written footnotes

on 27,000 verses out of the 31,000 verses in the Bible. And we've taken the portion of this living

commentary and printed out the portion that is covered in the book of Hebrews. So this is a

215 page book. Tomorrow will be my last day to offer this. And then we've also got CDs, DVDs, and a USB. And the USB has both the CD and DVD on there. covetousness and be content with such things as you have for he hath said I

will never leave thee nor forsake thee so the Lord never, once we enter into relationship with him,

he will never leave us or forsake us. And again, this could be amplified on talking about healing.

He could talk about prosperity. He could talk about just his presence with us. But the main point

that's being made is that we need to find our contentment in Jesus being with us. But the main point that's being made is that we need to find our contentment

in Jesus being with us, not in things. That's the context of this. And then the very next verse

just amplifies this. It says, so that, in other words, because he will never leave us nor forsake us,
