1:13.7	We did indeed. We had to wrap it up at verse 25, and so we pick it up in chapter 7, verse 26.
1:20.7	It says, for it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, speaking of Jesus, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from
1:31.7	sinners, and exalted above the heavens. Now, there's a number of words that are used here to
1:39.6	describe Jesus, all of them extremely important for us and our salvation, but also very much related to the Old Testament, very much related. There's a reason that he uses these words as he's talking to this Hebrew audience because he is talking about the sacrificial system and talking about, you know, when he uses the term
2:02.4	innocent and unstained, this brings, this conjures up sort of the imagery of needing to have
2:08.2	unblemished sacrifices, unstained sacrifices, which Jesus indeed is separated from sinners.
2:15.8	So he's distinct from sinners as the high priest. And this is part of his
2:20.3	argument for why Jesus's high priesthood is so much better and so much more preferable to
2:26.4	the high priesthood that they may be tempted to go back to in the Levitical system. Yep, that's right.
2:34.0	So he says, and then again, of course, that he's exalted above the heaven.
2:37.7	So in every way, he's better.
