Hello and welcome to the sleep story from Abide.

I'm Melissa and I want to thank you for joining me tonight for Heaven's Whisper.

In this calming sleep meditation,

you will not only hear the comforting words of the scriptures,

you'll experience calming sounds to accompany you on the journey.

These peaceful sounds are known as ASMR sounds or autonomous sensory meridian responses.

Simply put, they're relaxing sounds that filter in and out, creating a response in the brain, somewhat like a brain massage.

These sounds can be as simple as wrestling paper, a gentle breeze or soft music playing in the background.

The book of Ezekiel is full of descriptions that include sound.

As we read in Ezekiel chapter 43, verse 2,

and behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east.

His voice was like the sound of many waters.

And the earth shone with his glory.

As you might already know, Ezekiel was an old testament prophet whose name being strengthened by god
