Maybe we're not all experiencing global warming in the same way, despite all of us experiencing the same global average increase in temperature.

Maybe thinking about the climate crisis on a global level affecting all of us. Maybe that

universalism, that worldwide impact, and all of us contributing to the Earth's demise

maybe that obscures not only the causes of this warming

trend, but also whatever politics can be employed to mitigate the worst of this looming disaster that in many ways is already here. Maybe warming is just

not the right word. After all isn't warming key to the boiling frog syndrome and its failure to act against a problematic situation

which will increase in severity until reaching catastrophic proportions?
