Having to take part in that process means your voice is being heard, not just in Kenya

or in East Africa, is going all the way to the Vatican.

This kind of process, and you're only ever going to get to hear from a certain proportion

of people, what you miss is all the other people who are either satisfied with the way things

are or are too busy to kind of show up.

In my life, the Church has not proven itself to me that it can change.

I know historically it can, I know that it's possible, but at this point I have very, very

limited hope.

The listening has a lot of impact on the people feel about the church, it's no longer the

same.

People might not bring the solution, but it's a very bold initiative.

Three years ago Pope Francis started this process asking the world's 1.3 billion Catholics,

what steps does the spirit invite us to take in order to grow in our journey together?

After hundreds of meetings, documents have been drawn up recording those views.
