We got a showcase game, pumped up for it. But that's where you earn your credibility. But they

needed to make a move.

The other one, to Rico's point, you've got a big game to watch tonight, Philly and Green Bay. I think you've got to root for Philly. You've got to get this division in order and make it so that Thanksgiving game is a winner take-all. You need the pack, take another loss. Plus, it'll ramp up immense pressure on the Packers.

One of the biggest takeaway for me watching that commanders game was we need to pay Gibbs.

And I don't know if you guys listen to the morning show, but out of all four of the 2023 draft, the players taken in the 2020 draft, Gibbs, LaPorte, Branch, and

Campbell, they want to let Gibbs go. And I just think that's blasphemous, you know? Like,

Gibbs in the next five years will be the best running back in the league. I wouldn't take

another running back over him for the next five years. He is incredible and so fun to watch, and nobody is at a level that he is, in my opinion. All right, Rico, your team pays the running back the better part of $20 million a year. You weigh in on it first. I'll wait. What do you say to John? Well, John, here's the thing when he gets injured and he goes down. That all that money you you can't use to go and get

somebody else so it's it's an all in type of a move but most teams don't sign their running

backs they the the running backs make money on their second team because it's a position that

you're it's almost built to fail it can't he can't last this long

odds are i don't know i'm all in on gibbs man i think i just i don't know if anybody's going

to be at his level for the next five years it's hard as john is as great as he's playing now

when running backs fall off they fall off quick quick, fast, and hard. And it's like, wow, whatever happened to and then name that running back because it just happens that quickly. Look, John. I mean, I'll rather take the gamble on him than play the what if game. All right. So how about this? if paying him means you got to lose
